Your information belongs to you
This page explains what happens when you contact Tangatake through the website or take part in one of our programmes.
Information entered on this website
This website does not use tracking cookies and does not store information entered into its forms.
When you submit a form, it opens an email in your own email app addressed to tangatake.ct@gmail.com. The information is sent from you to Tangatake as an email and is not stored by the website.
How we use information you send us
We use information only to respond to your enquiry or, where you have registered interest in a programme, to contact you when a relevant cohort or opportunity opens.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other organisations unless you have agreed, or unless a programme partner needs specific information to carry out an agreed role.
Your rights
Our approach follows the Privacy Act 2020 and Māori data sovereignty principles. You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing tangatake.ct@gmail.com.
Participant information
Information collected within a Tangatake programme is covered by a separate consent process agreed with each participant at intake.
No participant story, image, statement or identifying information will be published without documented consent. Participants can understand, access and control their own information. Programme partners receive only what they need for their agreed role, and permitted use is stated clearly. Questions about privacy can be sent to tangatake.ct@gmail.com.
